Shooting

Hi there fellow Shooting Competitors!

Congratulations to those European Shooters for breaking more and more World Records! I would like to see other Shooters breaking World Records the other side of the world.

Just to let you know that ICSD Sports Director, Josef Willmerdinger and Wayne Langbein, the ICSD Technical Operations Manager, have been working very hard to oversee the growth of women’s sports which was great news.

It was agreed to have Shooting World Records to be separated between men and women. We will accept new women's shooting World Records beginning on 1 September 2007.

The new women's Deaf Shooting World Record standings would be on ICSD website.

The minimum points in order to break women’s World Record would be 85%, with the exception for 25m Pistol would be 80%. Please do not hesitate to contact me at shootingtd@ciss.org for further particulars regarding the women’s events in Shooting competitions they all would be published in the next issue of next e-News Bulletin.

There have been more and more New World Records being made by Shooting competitors subsequent to my last e-News bulletin. To ensure that these records are recorded by the ICSD, I encourage that these records made by Men’s or Women’s category be submitted without any delay following the record being made.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions about Deaf Shooting. I would be delighted to hear from you.

Wish you all the very best for the New Year!

Mac Adam
