Media Partnership with DeafNation

Frederick, MD-(21 November 2003) CISS/DEAFLYMPICS and DeafNation entered a media partnership agreement today.

DeafNation as one of DEAFLYMPICS media partners agrees to distribute information on DEAFLYMPICS at all DeafNation Expo and other related events.  DeafNation will provide technical support for full coverage of Deaflympic Games and other sanctioned events such as Deaf World Championships and Deaf Regional Championships.

In addition, DeafNation will deliver news in international signs through DeafNation video streaming that will include the Deaflympic Games and human-interest stories on athletes and staff.

DeafNation's logo will appear on the official site of DEAFLYMPICS website (www.deaflympics.com) as one of the media partners.

Deaflympic Games
The Deaflympic Games, under the auspices of the Comite International des Sports des Sourds (International Committee of Deaf Sports - CISS), were first competed in Paris in 1924, making it the oldest among the disabled sports organizations. It also receives official recognition and patronage from the International Olympic Committee.

CISS is an international governing body for deaf sports, with nearly 90 nation members and is currently led by an executive committee of 8 Deaf persons. Dr. Donalda K. Ammons, of Washington, D.C. USA, is serving as Interim President and Secretary General. The CISS headquarters are in Frederick, Maryland.
