ICSD President, Dr. Rukhledev is awarded with the LCCF Edward Miner Gallaudet Award at Gallaudet University

Washington, D.C., U.S.A. - 9 April 2016. On his recent official trip to the USA, Dr. Valery Rukhledev, the ICSD President was bestowed the LCCG Edward Miner Gallaudet Award for the “Cultural Advancement of the Deaf Community” for his significant contribution into the Cultural advancement of the Deaf Community, including Education and Enlightment; for outstanding input into the United Nations" Convention on the Rights of People with Disabilities (CRPD), endless civil rights advocacy of the Deaf, and for the strengthening of relationships between the ICSD and the IOC, as well as the development of the Global Deaf Sports Movement.

This award ceremony took place at the 47th Charter Day Brunch and Awards Program on 9 April 2016, at the Peikoff Alumni House.
