During my tenure as the ICSD Technical Director for Cycling I have tried to make an exciting and better program for the Deaf cycling at the Summer Deaflympics and World Deaf Cycling Championships and have added an event known as Points Race.

In addition, I brought the World Deaf Cycling Championships to the United States. Many things were accomplished at the recent World Deaf Cycling Championships attributed to my big dream. Mountain bike event and road cycling events took place at the velodrome in California and was a big hit!

As we know, the cycling community with strong support from ICSD was hoping for mountain bike event to be held at the Taipei, but the Taipei 2009 Games Organizing Committee was not able to set up the Mountain Bike event due to many difficult procedures. So with disheartening news, there will be no mountain bike event. However, I have spoken with the Greece 2013 Games Organizing Committee to make sure that the Mountain Bike event will take place in the 22nd Summer Deaflympics.
