100 Days to go in Sofia

With 100 days to go to the Deaflympics in Sofia, work there continued at a high pace. Among the day's meetings was a session at the Bulgarian National Olympic Committee (BOC) with its President Stefka Kostadinova, who remains the holder of the world high jump record. Also present were BOC General Secretary Belcho Goranov, ICSD Chief Executive Mark Cooper, Sofia 2013 Organising Committee President Lazar Kamenov and Bulgarian Deaf Sports Federation president Nikolay Nikolov.

Bulgaria is one of only 14 countries that took part in the first modern Olmypic Games in 1996. Thanks to a proud sporting tradition, Bulgaria is now set to join Copenhagen as the only two cities in the world to have hosted the Deaflympics twice.
