John Knetzger

John Knetzger of Milwaukee, Wisconsin (USA) has been appointed to serve as Assistant Technical Director in Volleyball.

John was a member of the USA Deaf National Volleyball team from 1990 until 2001 and participated in two international and three Deaflympics competitions.  In addition, he served as a Team Leader of the USA men’s beach doubles team to the 2002 International Beach Volleyball Championships in Zeebrugge, Belgium.

John’s personal strengths include attention to detail, organizational skills, and knowledge of current Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB) rules and regulations for both indoor and beach competitions.  His deep experience as an athlete, referee, coach, leader, and tournament host chair gives him a unique all-around perspective on how a volleyball event is run in a fair and efficient manner. 

John is a software engineer for Rockwell Automation, Inc. in Milwaukee.
