46th ICSD Congress: Elected Board Members

On July 18, 2017 at the Sheraton Grand Hotel during the final stage of the 46th ICSD Congress, the elections were held for the organization positions for the next four years: the Presıdent and the members of the Executive Committee.

The results of the votes showed that Dr. Valery Rukhledev was unanimously re-elected. President to continue lead the ICSD for the next four years. The delegates had recognized Dr. Rukhledev's great work in the development of Deaf sports around the world.

Mr. Sam Ramsamy, IOC Member and Mr. Kit McConnell, IOC Sports Director congratulated Dr. Rukhledev with the outcome of the elections.

The elections also resulted in some Executive Committee changes. Jack Lamberton is the new Vice President of Youth Deaf sports. Grigor Grigoryan and Yakup Umıt Kihtir have been voted to assume the two new additional positions in the Board. Rebecca Adam and Marijo Lusic were re-elected to remain in the Board.
