Centenary Congress in France

The International Committee of Sports for the Deaf is pleased to announce that our upcoming Congress will take place on the 3rd and 4th of October in Paris, France. This Congress holds special significance as we celebrate the remarkable milestone of the 100th anniversary of the inaugural International Silent Games, later recognized as the Deaflympics.

Prior to the ICSD Congress, the European Deaf Sports Organization will host their Congress for European delegates, creating an invaluable opportunity for collaboration and exchange. Their Congress will commence two days before ours.

On 5 October, we will embark on a memorable day trip to revisit the historic sites where the Games first began, offering a unique chance to celebrate our rich heritage. Additionally, guided tours will be organized to explore the various locations where the inaugural Games took place.

We encourage all delegates to begin making arrangements for their arrival on 2 October 2024 and their participation in the ICSD Congress on 3 October 2024. Stay tuned for further details and information, which will be provided in due course.
